| Shri Navratan Lunawath | Late Shri Navratan Lunawath, the principle promoter of Arihant was a self made businessman and a doyen of the real estate industry in South India. He had about 25 years of experience in diverse business areas. He switched over to his family business of financial services in the midst of his graduation in pharmacy.
Late Shri Lunawath promoted Arihant Foundations & Housing Limited in 1995. He was initially associated with the financial services industry for around 10 years and subsequently got into the construction business. With his passionate drive and dream to bring modern and environmentally sensible approach to urban building, Late Shri Lunawath created landmark residential and commercial complexes in Chennai. In recognition of his contribution to the industry, Indian Economic Development and Research Association, New Delhi honoured him with the National Corporate Excellence Award in 1995.
After the demise of the founder Shri Lunawath in November 2005, Mr Kamal Lunawath has taken over the management of the company. However, his unfailing vision and the grand legacy of business acumen continue to guide and inspire the management of Arihant.
